Hoewel de originele vraag van de oprichter van Brightsafe was om advies te geven over de website en de communicatie, kwam ik erachter dat er voor de slimme veiligheidsmeldingen applicatie enkel een logo bestond. Het advies was daarom ook, om juist in de communicatie gebruik te gaan maken van een geheel passende branding. Ik heb het logo gefinetuned en hierbij ook een grid-systeem bedacht voor het creëren van unieke patronen en bijpassende iconen. Dit systeem is uiteraard gebaseerd op QR-codes, de applicatie wordt namelijk gebruikt na het scannen van een code. Ook de kleuren kregen een kleine make-over zodat het geheel meer aansluit bij elkaar. Het resulteerde in een frisse branding, die de communicatie helder en professioneel neerzet.

Although the original request from the founder of Brightsafe was to provide advice on the website and communication, I discovered that for the smart security alerts application, there was only a logo. The advice, therefore, was to use a fully fitting branding in the communication. I fine-tuned the logo and also created a grid system for generating unique patterns and matching icons. This system is, of course, based on QR codes, as the application is used after scanning a code. The colors also received a small makeover to make the whole thing more cohesive. It resulted in a fresh branding that presents the communication clearly and professionally.
